I am Filippo Florindo, born in 1997, and my story begins among the streets of Modena, the beaches of Riccione, and the lowlands of Emilia, in a large family of true Modenese.

In 2018, after completing my high school studies, I decided to embark on an adventure to Australia. That experience was a turning point in my life: it was there that I formed a deep bond with photography, a passion that blossomed suddenly but enduringly.

Back in Italy, I decided to nurture this passion and continued my studies at the Academy Bauer in Milan between 2019 and 2021. These were two intense years during which I had the opportunity to put into practice what I was learning. I was fortunate to assist the fashion photographer Raffaele Grosso for two years and spent three months in the National Archive of Venice, working with Vittorio Pavan in his darkroom.

After obtaining my certificate and thanks to the teachings of Raffaele Grosso and an intensive course at the Willem De Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, I began to build a career in the world of photography. I started by doing backstage work for local music projects, and gradually expanded my clients in the music field, collaborating with artists such as Benji&Fede, Gue Pequeno, Sfera Ebbasta, Shiva, Roshelle, and many others...

After two years of musical backstage work, in 2023, I expanded my experiences by increasingly working in the fashion sector. Currently, my activity is predominantly focused on this sector, although I remain open to listening to and evaluating proposals in other areas.

EXHIBITIONS

In addition to commercial work, the most rewarding experiences have been the exhibitions of my personal projects. Each exhibition has been a unique opportunity for me to share my vision of the world through the lens of my camera.

2019 - Fondazione Stelline, Milano - Exhibition of “ TROTTER ISLAND”

2020 - Noorderlicht Photo Festival, NL - Photo exhibition of “PURE LIGHT”

2022 - Perimetro Magazine - Published project “ABANDONED THINGS”
